Google has figured out trying to push "acceptable ads" any harder is pointless and has instead moved to simply make adblocking technically harder to do by taking control of web standards. I've used many smartphones and never registered any of them. And frankly the vast majority of phones have way more computing power than is actually used. The more plugged-in and connected you are, the harder it is to remain anonymous.
